Abhay , a talented guitarist who has the passion of teaching guitar, now available here. music creates magic in the people’s life. Some people may driven towards vocal music, some in instrumental. But the magic created by guitar is something else. Feeling of music in the tunes will make people to find their passion and peace. Here Abhay giving a chance to learn the basic guitar and find people’s passion. He is certified guitarist from the akhila bharatha gandharva mahavidyalaya, mumbai. He has been playing guitar from past six years. And a lead guitarist in the Sparsh Band. Till now he taught more than 100 students. He is expert in Bollywood guitar and chord guitar along with the classical touches. In this guitar class, he will introduce the basic guitar, guitar exercises, basic strumming, basic chords.

Learning guitar can be a fun and rewarding experience. Here’s a general roadmap to get you started:

1. Get Familiar with the Basics:
  • Parts of the Guitar: Know the names and functions of different parts of the guitar (body, neck, frets, strings, etc.).
  • Tuning: Learn how to tune your guitar. You can use a tuner, a tuning app, or tune by ear.
  • Basic Chords: Start with open chords like C major, G major, D major, A minor, and E minor.
2. Practice Strumming and Picking:
  • Strumming Patterns: Practice simple strumming patterns to develop rhythm. Start with downstrokes and then add upstrokes.
  • Picking Techniques: Work on alternating between down and up strokes or fingerpicking.
3. Learn to Read Tabs and Chord Diagrams:
  • Tabs: Guitar tablature (tabs) shows you where to place your fingers on the fretboard.
  • Chord Diagrams: These diagrams show you the finger positions for various chords.
4. Play Simple Songs:
  • Choose songs with basic chords and simple strumming patterns. This will help you apply what you’ve learned and build confidence.
5. Build Finger Strength and Dexterity:
  • Practice exercises like chromatic scales or finger stretches to improve your finger strength and agility.
6. Learn Scales and Basic Music Theory:
  • Major and Minor Scales: Start with the major scale and the minor scale. Understanding scales helps with soloing and improvisation.
  • Basic Music Theory: Learn about key signatures, intervals, and how chords are built.
